Neon Abyss 2 Bosses and Gods: Full List and Order
Neon Abyss 2 has no officially published boss list — Veewo has never released one. What we do have is better in one specific way: the game's own 32-achievement list names ten bosses outright, and those names are first-party data rather than community guesswork. Add the two gods introduced in the Glimmer Heist update, the named bosses that arrived in other Early Access updates, and the 34 bosses returning from the original game through DLC, and the picture is considerably more complete than the absence of a formal list suggests.
The ten named bosses come from the official Steam achievement list, which pairs each name with its unlock condition.

Two more arrived with the Glimmer Heist update on January 29, 2026 — see the update announcement: Prometheus, a returning Titan, and Lisa the God of Galleries, described in the notes as "a new regular God". Lisa is a normal boss rather than a final one, which is worth noting since "new God" content tends to get described as endgame content by mistake.
Fatal Carnival (November 27, 2025) named three more: Hermes – God of Messages and Athena – Goddess of Wisdom as Manager bosses, and God of Stand-Up as a new regular boss. That update is also where two official unlock conditions were published, and they matter for the order question below.
There is no published level, floor or room list for Neon Abyss 2. We can tell you which bosses exist because achievements name them, but not which floor any of them sits on.
What is the unlock order for Neon Abyss 2 bosses?
The order below is community-documented, not official. It comes from a Steam Community guide, and we are labelling it clearly because Veewo has never confirmed a progression chain.
The documented chain runs: defeat Trojan to unlock Talos; defeat Talos to unlock Apollo; defeat Apollo to unlock Eris; then combine Eris with a full Psychedelism Faith bar and the Acid Token butterfly to reach Dark Eris; and defeating Dark Eris unlocks Hyperion.
One extra detail from the same guide: Floor Five appears to spawn either Talos or Trojan at random. That is a genuinely useful piece of information for run planning, because it means the Floor Five boss is not fixed and you cannot bank on a specific fight there.
The Fatal Carnival notes (November 27, 2025) give real conditions rather than community guesses: Hermes – God of Messages unlocks by defeating Hyperion, and Athena – Goddess of Wisdom unlocks by defeating Zeus — Athena being an Archenemy Returns DLC boss. That officially confirms the Hyperion step the community guide ends on, and it confirms the Zeus → Athena half of the guide's speculation. The Prometheus step that follows is still not confirmed by any source we have read.
The same guide's author speculates further about a Zeus to Athena to Prometheus sequence, and explicitly says he had not confirmed it. Only the Trojan-through-Hyperion portion, plus the two conditions above, are supported. Everything beyond that is open.
What bosses are coming back from the original game?
All 34 bosses from the original Neon Abyss return through the Archenemy Returns DLC, reworked with skill optimizations and VFX upgrades. That DLC is a separate app on Steam, currently free for Early Access owners — and it becomes a paid DLC after the 1.0 launch. The DLC and bundles page has the deadline and the pricing.
The 1.0 launch also adds a new end-game boss on top of that: Theia: God of Vanity, an original Titan and mother of Helios, Selene and Eos, built from broken mirrors, sharp gemstones and radiant neon auras. How much do boss fights change between attempts?
More than you would expect. The Creative Director has said that each boss is now built around randomized skill sets, which means no two encounters play out exactly the same. A boss you have already beaten is not a solved puzzle — the move pattern can differ between attempts, which makes memorisation a weaker strategy than it would be in a fixed-pattern game.
